For years, H.U.G.G.S. has helped bring the joy of Christmas to children whose parents are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated.
Every child deserves to feel the excitement of receiving a Christmas gift and know someone cares.
Each year, H.U.G.G.S. collaborates with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated men and women throughout Tennessee through our Christmas Essay Contest. Parents who are seeking assistance for their children are invited to share their story by answering:
“Why should my child(ren) be chosen for this event?”
A committee carefully reviews the essays and selects families to receive Christmas assistance.
